My son and I checked before seeing Deadpool 2 to make sure that there weren't sex scenes that would be embarrassing for us to watch together and there weren't any. BUT I wasn't prepared for the Melissa McCarthy movie preview that preceded Deadpool 2.

I never got that trailer. I always get boring ones at my cinema.

Among other things, there was a puppet jizzing all over the place a lot. I guess they can only show R rated previews during R rated shows so they really went to town in that theater.

I remember the trailer for that M. McCarthy film. My eyes are still burning from the experience.

Also, since the timeline was changed, shouldn't the time traveling Cable have been erased from existence?

And Cable going back to before the fight, wouldn’t that mean there were two Cables at that time?

Don't be so hard on the guy. You can have a tolerance for something, but not want to see it. It doesn't have to have anything to do with being gay--it could be any topic. There could be something that grosses you out - but you realize that just because you are grossed out, doesn't mean someone else should be banned from doing it. Simply reacting to gay references does not make you homophobic.
It's the very definition of homophobic. You can be homophobic and not be proud of it. You can be gay and have some internalized homophobia.

But that is homophobia.

Pretty sure they're playing by Austin Powers time travel rules.

The movie's time travel rules are all over the place. Sometimes it works like Terminator. Sometimes it works completely differently ( as thribs said, there should have been two Cables ).

Bottom line, if you're putting any thought into it at all, you're doing more than the writers did.

More likely they did think about it but didn't care because it's Deadpool.

Loved it. Funny as hell. Better than it's predecessor. "Scoutmaster Kevin, is that you?" I howled. Definitely have to see it again because I know I missed a lot of good stuff.

Matt Damon also makes an appearance... and it's no quick cameo and it completely went over my head.

Is that just a reference to Thor 3? Or did I seriously miss Matt Damon....?

I loved this movie. Laughed out loud so fucking much throughout the movie. Solid A for me.

I know Reynolds said he'd rather end here and not do a third one, but if they do, I am curious if Vanessa will indeed be saved, or if those end-credits scenes were just jokes and gags and whishfull thinking moments.

Matt Damon, in makeup, is the guy yapping with his buddy (sitting on the tailgate of a truck I think) when Cable first shows up in the present.

Just read that about an hour ago, yeah. :D :D Better yet, the guy he's yapping to? Alan Tudyk!!! :D

B.

I like it, but I liked the first one more (I rewatched it last night).

That one was easy to identify from the get-go, but Damon was impossible. Even if I knew he was in it, I would never have guessed that was him.
