What are you watching???

One of the most underrated TV shows. So many themes in the series and season 5 did feel rushed a bit. I was very sad when the end came. I just wish they had been given more time to do a proper season five. I wanted to have the whole AI thing a bit more fleshed out. There was so much to that side of the story.

Yeah it really is a great show, even what we got wasn't too rushed there was just an obvious switch in tone halfway through the season.

Oddly what I would have liked a little more is Finch changing his ways. It was he was one person, then saw the need to change like an episode later. He fought with himself a bit, but I would have liked to have that played out. The characters on the show were really some of the best. They were well thought out, evolved, developed and had backstory.

I'm thankful we got an ending, and it was a good ending.

I am also thankful we did get a final season and an ending.

Getting back to Blue Bloods I find two characters that really make me mad sometimes are the mayor and Reverend Potter. Both of these guys really annoy me sometimes and I'm sure that's what they were trying to do sometimes when you watch the show.

Diners Drive-Ins &Dives.

There’s a smoked fish place that sounds like it might be close enough to visit if we do the Florida thing. I wouldn’t normally consider a transatlantic flight just to do smoked fish, but if we’re doing Disney...

Watched Re-Animator for the first time the other night. Had no idea Jeffrey Combs was the star. Such a wonderfully campy, midnight popcorn flick.

Just finished season one of The Deuce - very good, has all the David Simon attributes - a complex, interwoven story with criminals, cops, politicians, journalists, and regular citizens, all tossed together and pingponging off each other. But since it is set in a limited area of NYC, it feels more cohesive than The Wire - as though all the seasons of that show were being told at once.
