Whoa. I was hoping for a Supergirl-Batgirl team-up on Earth-38, but this could be interesting too.

We know Bruce Wayne exists on Earth-1; Oliver name-dropped him a few months back.

Wow. I don't watch any of the CW shows anymore (although I've been meaning to catch up on Black Lightning), but I'll definitely keep watching the crossovers, especially if they do cool stuff like this.

I don't have any problem with it being Batwoman - would give exposure to one of the lesser known characters in the Bat mythos (and possibly a spin-off down the track).

Not sure that Batwoman has ever really had any live action exposure beyond Gothan borrowing Cathy Kane's name.

Me too, though the DCEU's big-screen plans for Bg may be a factor in the character's TV availability.

I actually know almost nothing about Batwoman (beyond her sexuality, just because that got a certain amount of publicity). Not sure I've ever read a comic with her. But hey, this is still a cool development, and I look forward to seeing what they do with it.

The DC/WB not allowing Batgirl on TV seems plausible.

Supergirl is the cousin of Superman.
Batwoman is the cousin of Batman.

I know, a relationship totally defined by their respective relationships to male heroes, but it's a start.

You're just looking at it the wrong way. Actually, Superman and Batman are their cousins.

I always love the CW crossovers. But I do think the next one maybe needs to be a little smaller in terms of number of characters. Just have the main heroes like Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and a couple Legends will allow each character more development and give us more character moments between them.

If Gotham hadn't been renewed for an additional half-season do you think we might have been seeing Batman? I wonder if she's the Batwoman of Earth 1 or 38? Or could there be multiple Batwomen. You don't think she'll hook up with Alex or Sara do you?

To the heartbreak of everyone across time, space and the multiverse, Sara isn't single anymore... :p

And one night stands aren't really Alex's cup of tea.

I wonder if they'll at least mention Batman in the crossover? Who might the villains be?

Cool news, I have't read any comics with her yet, but I've heard a lot of good things about her, so I look forward to seeing how they handle her.
As for her getting together with one of the other lesbian characters, I would be a surprised if they didn't find some way to get together with one of them.
I actually have the first collection of Bombshells, which heavily features an alternate WWII era, baseball playing Batwoman on my Comixology account, but I haven't read it yet.

She may be too short for Kate Kane (whom I've imagined as being close to 5' 10" to 6' tall), but Gugu Mbatha-Raw would be an amazing Batwoman. :)

A good friend of mine cosplays as the Bombshells Batwoman. I saw her on Saturday at a minor league baseball game. (It was superhero day, and a group of cosplayers she appears with were there to raise money for a local charity.)

There's no reason this crossover couldn't take place on Earth-38, so BW could very plausibly share an Earth with Kara and Co.

Honestly, at this point there's so much crossing over between the different Earths that I don't think it really matters which one she's on.

    That's not how crossovers work!

I guess Infinity War really spoiled us when it comes to crossovers. ;)
