And the Next Cancelled Show is...

This very thread is the reason why I refuse to watch anything new on TV. What’s wrong with these people?

Bring back Tru Calling, I want to know why the guy lit an extra candle. Then revive Point Pleasant, and Crusade, and Firefly, and...
Firefly absolutely! Crusade not so much. Horrible over-the-top acting (IMO), and was basically a Space Battleship Yamato/Star Blazers ripoff at many levels.

Really bummed that Deception got cut. I kind of liked that show. :(

If you like your comfort food episodic crime-fighting procedurals, CBS renewed every single one of them except Elementary (up in the air) and Wisdom of the Crowd (axed). So you could always watch that network if you're worried about your shows getting cancelled. :p

Also, Designated Survivor has been cancelled. Somewhat surprised but not shocked. The writing was terrible and it wanted to be two different types of shows that never meshed together.
I saw season 1 but never got into season 2...should I not bother?

Ok..so Quantico was able to show like 2 episodes of the current season? Mmm...seems like they were waiting to cancel that. Which is fine...this season's premise didn't seem to make sense and has nothing to do with the title...and hasn't since the first season. Basically people playing with each other psychologically and physically.

Hulu passes on reviving Brooklyn Nine Nine

Canceled: NBC's Rise, ABC's Deception, The Crossing, Inhumans, Kevin Probably Saves The World, Ten Days in the Valley and Alex, Inc.

Well, bummer. I've been enjoying The Crossing.

I liked the Crossing too...but it seems like other than Lost, shows like The Event and Resurrection(which both these shows feel like) might be better suited as a miniseries.

I'd say it's more of the same even if season 2 has a different showrunner. If you liked season 1 then you'd probably like season 2, but it's a show that wants to be part West Wing and part 24 and ends up being neither. Michael J. Fox shows up in the second half if that's of any interest to you.

Not surprised The Inhumans was canceled. It's the one MCU show I didn't bother watching and, by ever account, it sounds like I saved my time by avoiding it.

It just came back two weeks ago; that would be a fast decision. :p
...and Wisdom of the Crowd (axed).
They declined to renew that one all the way back in November, a combination of crap ratings and star Jeremy Piven being accused of sexual misconduct by numerous women.

Sorry to see Designated Survivor go. I'm not blind to its flaws but it's got a lot of heart. Crap like Zoo gets three seasons and this show barely gets off the ground.

I stopped watching this season. It seemed to have lost it's way.
