And probably closer to the TOS uniforms than even the Enterprise ones are going to be.
They should use the same patterns of the 09/ID uniforms but use a non delta textured fabric.
I was about to suggest the same thing. No woven fabric with little Starfleet deltas. And use the DSC-style uniform insignia with TOS-style department symbols.

Yo dawg I heard you like Starfleet deltas so I embossed Starfleet deltas on the Starfleet deltas that make up the shirt that has a Starfleet delta.
What the uniforms should have been from the start. I would have had no problem with Discovery's uniforms if they were colour coded and had a skirt variation.
I actually like the ribbed parts that wrap around the shoulder and underarm, it reminds me a lot of 50s sci fi serial costumes.
Here's hoping they go for a more 60s route with the hairstyles and makeup as well.

Delta texture or not, I feel that the 2009 uniform looks too T-shirtey. The new uniform looks more like a uniform to me, as do the uniforms in Beyond.
I think had they been made using the fabric Beyond used and had the black collar part, actually sewn on instead of being an overshirt for a generic black undershirt it would have looked much better.

Notice there are no deltas (other then the badge) on the Enterprise uniforms
Unless the service boots have them just like the crews of other ships in the series. Unless the Enterprise uses TOS-style black trousers and boots.

That being said: I'm completely, 100% fine with that! Is it really stealing, if you're stealing from yourself? I mean, they both depict the same timeframe. In fact, I think those bright uniforms work SO MUCH to signify "Star Trek"! I love it!
Other things I think DIS should "borrow" from previous Trek iterations:
- Bright and shiny Federation starships with round nacelles and orange bussard collectors
- An industrial look for klingon technology and Fu-Manchu style beards and Samurai-inspired haircuts
- adventures on planet-side away missions and Starfleet officers working as dimplomats with new alien civilisations
Depends on the court, as there have been a couple of musicians take to court for sounding too much like themselves. Obviously, legal technicalities abound, but still, yes it is possible to steal from yourself according to some laws
