yes, time passes much faster these days. I blame the overpopulation* - there's not enough time anymore for everybody having a big slice, so we'll have to make do with smaller portions.

* In my lifetime, mankind more then doubled from 3.1 billions to 7.6 billions atm. Scary. By the time I die (2040, according to statistics) it'll be 9.1 billions - three times as many as when I was born.
