New uniforms in Season 2 Trailer

We also got a glimpse of the science uniform. I won't lie, I'm a bit disappointed they didn't update the Cage uniforms as opposed to the main series uniforms, but I can understand why they did it. To be honest, they seem to take cues from the Star Trek Beyond uniforms which is fine by me since I liked that take on them sans the collars which are fixed here.

Edit: Welp, ninja'd.
Where did you find the widescreen version of the video? Instagram/Facebook just have the square-ratio version.

There's a reason even TOS discarded the turtleneck uniforms just after the two pilots: they simply were not that attractive.

It's up on Youtube now:

Thanks! The widescreen version confirms they're shooting scenes onboard the Enterprise (Burnham entering a room labeled 3F 125-1701). I like the flashes of red they added to the corridors.

I completely agree. While, as I said before, I'm a bit disappointed by the lack of continuity here, I think there's good reasons for going with the main series uniforms over the Cage uniforms. First being that they're unattractive like you said, the other being that they're not as recognized.

Alright, question of the day, why is Saru in front of a green screen. They have a Discovery bridge set...?

Perhaps it's to help with a closeup shot for some reason? Exploding bridge without damaging the set?
Either that, or a shot that requires a CGI transition behind Saru that couldn't easily be done with a dissolve or jump cut. I know of a couple of instances on NCIS that featured Gibbs in the center of frame as the camera dollied around, while the background faded between shots of different characters speaking to him.

Spock's quarters are 3F 125!
There is something that looks like an altar in the room she's entering - perhaps Spock's meditation altar, like he later had on the refit Enterprise?
