You basically HAVE to use MovieTickets, Fandango, or Atom Tickets at this point. How else can you even see movies?

I was wondering what I was missing...
So you're going to drive to the theater, pay for parking, and stand in line just to pre-order a ticket? That's... insane for the 21st century.

EDIT - unless you meant from the theater's website. I don't know any theaters that offer their own ticketing systems. They all go through the 3 systems I listed.

Yeah, when I do need to pre-order tickets I usually just do it from the theater’s website. Most of the ones I go provide their own mechanism for that.

If it’s not opening weekend you are usually OK just getting them when you get there. My family are the worst at commitment and there’s still a big plex here that doesn’t do assigned seating so you can still just do it the old way and first-come first-serve.

There are hundreds of theaters in this area, all accessible from a single website.

That's what I do, too. AMC Theaters has its own ticketing website so I don't need to use a third-party system. I only buy tickets online for major premiere releases (Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Avengers, etc.), otherwise I wait the few extra minutes to buy tickets at the theater.

Hey, you are right! AMC used to redirect to a 3rd party, but seem to have their own now. I get obnoxious marketing from them as well though, so it doesn't solve the issue at hand. But I stand corrected.

Saw it last night- great fun for the first 2/3rds, lots of humour and excellent, comic-book style action. But that ending was a major bummer and I there was a sad pall over the cinema when it ended. It's a real Empire Strikes Back.

Same feeling here in Seoul, I did like Fury's last signal but a lot of the audience here isn't familiar enough to recognize who's being signaled.

WOW JUST WOW

The non stop pacing, constant switch between humor and DEADLY serious moments, the action pieces, the first time team up's, THANOS THANOS THANOS :D and that ending, wow that ending was brutal.

So much to process now but Thanos is a villian of immense depth and feels human in so many ways. The film is this generations Empire Strikes Back with the ending though it wasn't all perfect. I feel they under powered some heroes especially Vision & Doctor Strange to help the plot.

At the moment A- for me and easily breaks into my Top 10 of all time.

One guy shouted out Aquaman, which got a few laughs in the Cinema.

I wonder is she really that powerful and also WHERE THE FUCK have you been

Just came out of it. It was pretty good. Thanos is basically just Kodos on a larger scale. A reference everyone should get here or you should be banned. :)
It was cool to see Edinburgh featured. I didn’t expect that. Now the Avengers have brought their nonsense to my neighbourhood. :)

I don't get obnoxious marketing emails from AMC. I guess I'm doing it wrong.
