Bury your gays is a trope that needs to be buried.
Well maybe Spock is off somewhere and isn’t on ship
I'm sure they'll show the bridge.I really wish this idea would stop getting floated. The USS Enterprise literally just flew up to Discovery's front door. There's absolutely no way they're not going to show (a) the bridge and (b) Spock. I suppose S2E1 could open with the following:
SARU: Come in, Enterprise.
PIKE: This is Captain Pike. We have sustained heavy damage. Our visual communication is down. We only have enough power left for me alone to speak to you and beam over to Discovery.
[PIKE MATERIALIZES IN DISCOVERY'S TRANSPORTER BAY, AND THE ENTERPRISE WARPS OFF TO SEEK REPAIRS,]
... but that seems like a huge F-U to the audience.

I just can't see them re-casting Spock, again.
They will recast Spock, just as they recast Amanda, Sarek, and now Pike. Quinto played Spock three times -- why should he get a special placeholder on the character? And who would want to pay for him when you can get someone just as believable for a fraction of the cost?
I find that unlikely.but most likely use a redress of the Shenzhou bridge set.
Here's what will happen:
Star Trek fans will get pissed, because they probably not going to faithfully recreate the old Enterprise bridge, but most likely use a redress of the Shenzhou bridge set. As far as I trust the producers, I won't be even too sure they change the bridge windows from three different windows looking down to up.
Every "casual" viewer (as if anyone outside the hardcore fandom is watching DIS in the first place...) is going to be confused about Spock being there and asking where the hell Kirk is.
Eh, no. Just no.Here's what will happen:

yep! Even though how characters look has nothing to do with it. Prime Spock recognizes Quinto as his prime younger self.
Honestly, I'm not really enthused with the idea that CBS might have sped up production in order to get the show out in late 2018. Unless it means there will be less smeary, overprocessed space shots. They should take as long to do the second season right as possible - just like any streaming show now does. I'd rather wait another six months for quality than get something potentially dodgy a bit earlier, because the six months without Trek will whiz by, but rushed product will be part of Trek forever.

They won't be.
And, no, that doesn't mean they'll be shelling out money for Quinto; it means we won't see Spock AT ALL.
Source?

"We certainly aren't confirming that we're even going to introduce Spock and we certainly are not casting that role, either," Harberts says.
"[W]e realize how incredible Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto's performances were and what [Star Trek movie director] J.J. Abrams and the original series were able to pull off with that character," Harberts says. "Finding another actor that could even come close to what Leonard Nimoy did with the original portrayal, we'd never want to go down that road."
