As a woman I find men whining about getting to see some actress nude to be pathetic. That behavior is probably why they’ve been reduced to just seeing a nude woman on TV, they can’t say “go away creep”.

Not only that but if you are like me who does think Tilly is sexy it's not like nudity is going to change people's opinion on her looks. You can still have all the lusty thoughts you want without the actress doing a pointless nude scene. Don't people have imaginations? Pointless Nudity sends the messsage that the actor's only value is their looks. Why do that to someone if it isn't even needed because it's important to the plot.

Are there many out there that do want nudity in Trek for reasons titillation? Have they no imagination, or internet access? The internet is 95% porn, 2% bitcoin ads, 1% a Trump poetry and then a bunch of other stuff. If TNG had nudity, such as the Troi shower scene I always felt was missing, there’s no way I could have watched it as a teen, and I enjoyed watching it with my parents, and I enjoy watching it with my kids.

Judging by here, I don't think DSC should show nudity. The audience watching -- as a whole -- isn't ready for it.
Nudity should be a non-issue that people are comfortable with and not embarrassed by. It also shouldn't matter who is seen naked. Gender, age, or physical build. That's not where the audience is. I don't even think it's where the writers or producers are.

It's in the 1983 version with 12 minutes added in that were cut out of the theatrical release. I don't think it's in subsequent cuts but I don't remember for sure. Here's a link to the exact dialogue exchange here between Decker and Ilia, after she tells Kirk her Oath of Celibacy is on record.
... But not the point of my post. The point is nudity in DSC would call too much unnecessary attention to itself. It could be something as simple as a crewmember getting dressed or someone walking into the quarters at the wrong moment to see someone undressed if they shared the same quarters. But even those alone would cause an uproar.

I stand by that too. If you want to publically judge others, you should subject yourself to the same. Not doing so seems cowardly to me, like a bully jealous of others.
Here's an example, I've seen teachers for instance get into trouble for what they do in their private time. Say pictures of that teacher at a Fetish event or from Spring Break got leaked... there would be serious questions as to whether they should be employed, and whether their image reflects negatively on the board or the education community.
Whether the individual leaks the images or not, they exist and are out there and there are consequences. It's not as simplistic a case as 'blaming the victim.'
I've got no sympathy for celebrities who's brands are tainted by their private lives leaking out. It's an occupational hazard and they know it. Especially in today's social media-driven industry.
