In all DC continuities that I'm aware of, Superman is vulnerable to magic. If there is a place he needs to reach that is protected by some kind of magical barrier, a transporter would allow him to get there without being affected by said magic.
But is Clark invulnerable or not? Seems to me a transporter would be the ultimate weapon againstIn all DC continuities that I'm aware of, Superman is vulnerable to magic. Maybe we can invent them to transport the snow to Florida.
That right there is the sucky thing about air travel....And have you heard that United just killed a puppy?...I'm in Florida right now...
Actually, my return flights got pushed 48 hours into the future due to the weather. World's smallest violin and all, but consider that I didn't actually want to take at least 1.5 more days off of work.
Plus, transporters can be abused horribly. From kidnapping (imagine sexual predators getting their hands on one...), murder, theft, etc. And don't tell me it cant' be done; all new technology gets abused.

No kidding. They better announce transporter blockers on the same day they announce transporters. Otherwise, expect a complete upending of society.
