In all DC continuities that I'm aware of, Superman is vulnerable to magic. If there is a place he needs to reach that is protected by some kind of magical barrier, a transporter would allow him to get there without being affected by said magic.

But is Clark invulnerable or not? Seems to me a transporter would be the ultimate weapon against

Even the transporter in "Justice League" (Timm-verse) was rarely used; the martian said they hardly seemed worth it.
But if they worked, yeah, you could scrambled Superman Admiral Kirk style.
Transporters would be nice to get around snow, but ultimately we still need to do things certain ways for certain reason, the least of which is not allowing snow to pile up -- it's gotta be plowed; not every place will have a receiving unit (or power may be out); and other things I can't think of.
Plus, transporters can be abused horribly. From kidnapping (imagine sexual predators getting their hands on one...), murder, theft, etc. And don't tell me it cant' be done; all new technology gets abused.

Actually, my return flights got pushed 48 hours into the future due to the weather. World's smallest violin and all, but consider that I didn't actually want to take at least 1.5 more days off of work.
That right there is the sucky thing about air travel....And have you heard that United just killed a puppy?
No kidding. They better announce transporter blockers on the same day they announce transporters. Otherwise, expect a complete upending of society.
Or, hopefully, the transporter will require special platforms at the destination. That would limit some of the mayhem.
To be fair, apparently it was a flight attendant giving instructions they shouldn't have given. United was pretty quick to say that shouldn't have happened.
But I imagine -- using logic guided by past experiences -- it will be useless. Every time somebody invents some method to stop unwanted use of unwanted entry, somebody hacks it.
