That whole interview was gold, but I loved how she tried to teach Stephen how to knit. :D

Wow, that's awesome. Some great artwork and intriguing episode titles. I wonder if there's any correlation between the covers and the episode synopses, or if they're just going for the general pulpy feel.

Interesting.

Both the previews and some of the "cover images" imply Trish taking a larger role beside Jessica in her adventures. We saw her desire to be a hero in season one.

Episode 2.11 is titled "AKA Three Lives Left". Episode 2.12 is titled "Pray for my Patsy".

In the comics, Patricia "Trish" Walker is the hero known as Hellcat. "Three Lives Left"?

In the comics Patricia Walker goes by the name "Patsy" Walker. "Pray for my Patsy"? Also note that there are pictures of Trish in the foreground of the "cover" of 2.12.

This would seem to bode ill for the crime-fighting career of Trish Walker-- Hellcat. Of course, the name of the show is "Jessica Jones" not "Hellcat" and from a dramatic standpoint it makes sense for Jessica to have to stand on her own for the big finale, but I hope they don't do anything too unfortunately permanent to Trish.

Almost done with season 1. I forgot how awesome Trish was. Probably my favorite partner character in the Netflix Marvel universe. Also love the dialogue. A lot of this season did come back to me and I am looking forward to more of Jessica’s backstory.

For God's sake. I get home from work a couple minutes after midnight all prepared to watch Jessica Jones, and my internet is down!

At least you still have a Netflix subscription. I had to drop mine because I'm broke. I hope the job interview I have next week pans out...

"Maybe I'm a freak, but someone made me this way. And this lab rat has some complaints."

Two episodes in and I'm already loving it. The new season dives head first into the IGH mysteries as well as plenty of issues for all of the main characters (well, a little short for Malcolm thus far but I'm sure they're will be more).

No sign of Kilgrave but Will Simpson returns.

I thought it was coming out tomorrow but it came out last night. I still have two episodes to go in my first season rewatch but I can't wait to dive into the new season this weekend.

Netflix usually drops there shows on Fridays rather than Thursday, but an exception was made for Jessica Jones season 2 seeing as today is international women's day.

Foggy! It was only one scene but it was still great! Considering I doubt we'll see Claire, this will do as the street-level universe crossover cameo.

Not only is the main antagonist, who is responsible for multiple deaths throughout the season, is actually Jessica's birth mother, but she also killed Jessica's boyfriend over a misunderstanding and Jessica blamed herself for it without knowing the truth. Between this and Trish relapsing into addiction, they're going full on with messing with Jessica's life and those around her.

...and we still haven't even seen Kilgrave again yet. Coming into the season, I expected him to be a manifestation of Jessica's trauma, tormenting inside her head, but we haven't seen anything like that up to this point. Now I suspect he'll be some kind of hallucination as a result of Dr. Malus' drugs and/or experimentation.

Avoid Wikipedia because there are already major spoilers in some of the Jessica Jones articles.

Jessica directly references the Raft.

I just paypal'd you enough money for a month of Netflix so you can binge- although I completely understand if you don't spend it on that, of course!

With this season, Turk has now appeared in the same number of shows as Claire, since he wasn't in Iron Fist and she wasn't in The Punisher. Still hope for both of them to appear in the second seasons of the two shows they've missed so far...

Overall, I really enjoyed the season, even if it kept changing the focus and direction of the season's plot, which granted is a common occurrence for most of the Marvel Netflix shows (I would argue the first seasons of Daredevil and Jessica Jones stayed largely focused on the same thing).

He only appears in episode 11, "AKA Three Lives and Counting." He emerges in his mind after Jessica kills a brutal prison guard, largely in self-defense (although she broke into his home), taunting her to kill again. His dialogue suggests that there's an actual remnant of him in Jessica's mind and he wasn't entirely a hallucination.

I loved how he was utilized throughout the episode as the harassment escalated, the more disoriented Jessica became, especially when we were treated with multiple David Tennants at once. Plus, the door is left open and we could see more of him in the future..."I'll be around if you need me..."

Netflix series ranking:

Jessica Jones season 1
Daredevil season 1
Luke Cage
Jessica Jones season 2
The Defenders
Daredevil season 2

The Punisher

Iron Fist

Six episodes in and I'm enjoying it so far. It's not as dark or intense as the first season, and I really miss the dark edge that David Tennant's Kilgrave brought to the show.

Comic nerd alert-- both the Whizzer and Dr. Karl Mallus are from the comics.

I'm 3 episodes in... pretty dang good. JJ has the best supporting cast (beating out DD thanks to the strength of "Jeri Hogarth") and the story is interesting and they don't seem to be dragging it out this time...
