CG animation feat. new version of Theme Song

I'm usually not one for plugging websites, but there are so few ENT related ones around... what the hell, here goes. A moderator can always close this topic down, if this crosses a line...

I noticed this Half-Life mod site a few years back (I'm not much of a gamer) and stumbled across it again this evening. Something fellow ENT fans might want to see.

Check out the video, which runs through a CG version of the ship starting in the Launch Bay. There's an especially unique version of "Faith of the Heart". I've got chills listening to it. No idea whether it's an existing track, or if they re-worked it themselves.

At first going into it I thought you meant a reworked/slow version of "Archers Theme" but yeah after watching it I liked the reworked "Faith of the Heart". It says below in one of the post:

"The theme was reproduced by Trent "Basstronix" Robertson and Naomi sang the lyrics. Glad you guys like it, we do..."

It's different. Ethereal, like something from Lord of the Rings. I guess I'm so used to hearing Russell Watson's version, this just took me back for a second... but in a good way.

Agreed, love "Into the West" and the other song (can't think of the name at the moment) it was used at the end of the supertrailer and in closing credits.

Anyway I have just saved the cold war trailer.

Wow, I was expecting something really amateurish but I really was surprised by that. The mod itself looked lovely, but the music! Wow. If anyone ever gets an mp3 of that version of the song please post it!

I had an idea at one point to put together a photo montage video. Basically to photoshop together imaginary scenes we might've seen in Season 5, mix it in with new CGI or old footage from the show. It kind of fizzled out though, my own skills outside of video editing being quite low.

Thanks for taking the time to do that. Hearing it on the video, it's a great version of the track. I'm having trouble with this music file though. None of my media players seem to be able to cope with RAR. Is that different from MP3 or something?

I must've tried 927 times to view this video, and the thing will NOT finish loading. (And no, the "927" isn't much of an exaggeration...not in spirit, anyway.)

Does anyone know if this is posted somewhere a bit more friendly, such as YouTube, maybe?

I like what I've seen, but it's a little hard to get a final feel for it, NOT HAVING SEEN THE ENDING AND ALL.

RAR is a compressed format, like ZIP. You'll need to find a program to decompress it.
