(before 21st Century) games...
Without having anything more to say right now I'll just start with:

I loved it back then and I want to play it again.

I loved that game. It was brilliant. I also really liked the original Prince of Persia, which had a similar animation style.

A bit more modern, Borderlands, the first one, there's something about its style that I really like, also some levels have really nice music..

I used to wander around the levels, avoiding the bandits and just see what was there.

And quite more modern, I love Saints Row III a lot, I usually spend more time walking/driving/flying around Steelport than to actually play the game.

One the most innovative and atmospheric games of the century.

It's a box!!

Heart of Darkness - 1998

This one was talked about forever and suffered numerous delays after initially announced a release in 1995.
Nevertheless very enjoyable graphics and animations when it finally arrived.

Another strange and innovative game from the 90's:

ECCO the dolphin - 1992

"Shine On You Crazy Diamond"...

Echoes - Pink Floyd
"And deep beneath the rolling waves
In labyrinth of coral caves
The echo of a distant tide
Comes willowing across the sand"

There's an interesting connection between Ecco The Dolphin and Pink Floyd songs. The creator of Ecco, Ed Annunziatta was a huge Pink Floyd fan and the level in the game called "Welcome to the machine" was Ed's tribute to his favourite musical artist.
