Ok, now I really am planning on getting some of these.
Weird...the top and bottom images look perfect, but they appear to have been stretched along their Z-axis. I wonder why they did that.

I thought it was surprising and bizarre that they chose T'Kuvma as one of the first figures to bring out, and apparently his early death threw them for a loop as well. I wonder which other figure they're going to make to give Burnham company -- Saru? Tilly?
And that phaser does look quite nice. And $34.99 US certainly beats the $500 or whatever the fork Anovos is charging for theirs!

Totally agree! Not bad. Wish I had enough posts to edit, but would add that its pretty damn cool if the battery pack light makes it into production as the video indicates.

If anything, that just supports the theory that the events of the first two episodes were originally meant to play out throughout the season as flashbacks in each episode, and that the decision to instead present them as a two-part episode was made late in the game.
