Are any of you guys/gals fans of the M:I franchise? I am and I think this looks incredible!

Looks brilliant. I think the Mission Impossible films got better as they went along, with the exception of Rogue Nation, which didn’t quite hit the heights of Ghost Protocol but was still fantastic fun. I’m very pleased to see Michelle Monaghan back in this one too.

And... he flew his own helicopter.

One of the things I like from the trailer was when Henry Cavill acknowledged on screen the fact that Ethan Hunt has been disavowed and accused of things he didn't do multiple times. the whole 'Ethan Hunt goes on the run for a crime he didn't commit' has been done to death I'd argue.

I secretly like Tom Cruise.

Tom Cruise is one of the producers of these films and I'm pretty sure that the only reason he keeps doing them is because it's an excuse to do something impossibly dangerous AND get paid for it! :D

Agreed. Of the 1st 5 movies, Mission Impossible 2 is the only one where he's totally on this mission with the approval of the IMF. The disavowed fugitive angle gets used at some point in each of the other 4 films, although it takes a bit longer than usual to get there in Mission Impossible III.

I really enjoy these movies. I used to just kinda like them but Ghost Protocol is, IMO, one of the greatest action movies of all-time. The endless inventiveness of the action sequences in that one is a marvel to behold. Plus, it's gotten a lot more fun ever since they brought Simon Pegg in as a main team member.

Lets just hope that the movie is worth suffering through Henry Cavill's bad CGI upper lip in Justice League. ;)

CAN'T WAIT. I love the Mission Impossible franchise and Tom Cruise is one of my favorite actors. He's great in everything.

Nice to see that the Syndicate isn't just a one movie foe. They were the main threat in the TV show.
Also, when did Waller get Superman to do her bidding?

Wasn't the Syndicate that guy they nabbed in Rogue Nation? or was there more then one of him?

I'd love to see an Mission Impossible crossover with the MCU
