Todd Haberkorn already does an amazing job. Just hire him, because in all frankness, I can't see a Hollywood actor doing so well as a fan actor at mimicking such a classic character.

He looks like he'd make a better Dukat than Spock.

Some interesting suggestions here! As a practical matter, though, who are we likely to see?

Pike, Number One, and Spock seem foreseeable enough, and there are some great suggestions for all of them. (I especially like the ideas of either Lauren Graham or Hayely Atwell as Number One, and Lee Pace as Spock. There are lots of possibilities for Pike; I remain agnostic!)

However, Alex Kurtzman has also recently hinted that we're liable to see "surprises" in the Enterprise crew. I'm open to suggestions as to who those might be, as offhand the only familiar character I can think of who might plausibly be active on the Ent in this period would be Scotty. Any others spring to mind?

So who might play Scotty? The only suggestion I've seen in this thread was David Tennant, and sorry, he's great, but IMHO he'd be all wrong for the part. Thing is, I don't have any better ideas of my own. Anyone?
