...I’ll continue to watch this Discoverse series just like I’ll continue to watch the Kelvinverse movies if they make more.

But for me nothing compares to the Prime Universe of Star Trek, whose series and films I grew up with and love.

Todd Haberkorn already does an amazing job. Just hire him, because in all frankness, I can't see a Hollywood actor doing so well as a fan actor at mimicking such a classic character.

There will be no Kelvin actors in STD due to simple fact that Kelvin universe and STD are owned by different studios. Unless the CBS/Viacom merger happens before season 2 starts filming, if and when we see characters that appeared in Kelvin movies, the characters WILL be played by different actors.

I would like not to go down that road again. If you don't want to debate someone civilly, then walk away. It is possible to have a different opinion to you which is valid.

Don't need to look exactly like him. Looks are so secondary, Anson is just the perfect actor to play pike.

I'd love it, but she may be too distractingly attractive for this show. I think she would have made a fantastic female lead though. She has a magnetic screen presence.

I’d be really surprised if it’s expllcitly stated in their contract, for example, that Quinto or Urban can’t reprise their roles in a TV series.
