I swung by Barnes and Noble on my way home from work hoping it might've been set out early, and luck was on my side. I'm only a couple chapters in, but so far, Good Lorca is exactly as different from Evil Lorca as I hoped.
There was something weird about the B&N, though. The "New Paperbacks" table in the front of the store had a fat stack of Desperate Hourses, just as it did when it first came out, but no Drastic Measureses. I checked out the Sci-Fi rack to be sure, and there was just one DM tucked away (along with a solitary DH). I'm wondering if this was, like, a deliberate thing and they set out one before the street date so people who were looking could find it without setting it up for the browsers in the front of the store, or if someone in the back put one out early for a buddy and I unknowingly grabbed it, or what but, hey. Can't argue with results.
