What’s Section 31 getting up to in the Mirror Universe

I doubt there even IS a mirror counterpart to Section 31.
The reason that Section 31 exists in the prime universe is that there are certain things that Starfleet Intelligence won't do, certain lines it won't cross, certain rules (legal or moral) it won't violate. Surely none of those restrictions would ever apply to the Terran Empire...
I mean, whatever intelligence service the Empire operates, I'm sure there's literally NOTHING it won't do. Terran Intelligence is probably down to the darkest levels - perhaps even worse than the prime universe's Obsidian Order or Tal Shiar (or the KGB of our own world's past). Who knows, perhaps even as thoroughly evil as the Imperium of Man from Warhammer 40K...

Pretty much, S31 is basically the real world equivilent of Gladio.
Gladio was (probably still is) a clandestine US black ops "organisation" that operates in Europe and basically carries out domestic terrorism, assassinations, blackmail, murder. It was eventually uncovered I think in the 90s through investigations by European Parliaments and Governments into certain events. But the US insists Gladio doesn't exist and pretty much little is really is known about it, aside from it at some point existed and engaged in terrorism and killings and they're often linked to European Fascist groups.
US though couldn't openly have a Fascist black ops murder terrorism org running around it's allied countries assassinating people and bombing places and still pretend it cares about Democracy and Freedom.
Meanwhile, Everyone knows about the SS, the Nazis did little to hide what the SS did and as bad as Gladio is, it's nothing compared to the SS. Why would the Nazis care about hiding the SS when they already ruled through mass fear, totalitarianism and violence?
They travel the Terran Empire spreading a message of clean living, friendship and fellowship. Naturally, the Terran Empire denies their existence and publicly disapproves their message, though some influential Starfleet officers have been known to be associated with these deviants.

Alright, this real-world conspiracy shit belongs in Miscellaneous or The Neutral Zone, not here.
Section 31 is an underground humanitarian network that sabatoges biological weapons and planet killers and helps defenseless aliens secretly escape.
They infiltrate crewmembers on various ships, then get them all together and they all have tickle/pillow fights
Basically MU 31 is the tok’ra.
An underground railroad of abolitionist-types working clandestinely in Terran territory sounds like a neat idea.
The SS comes to mind. The Secret Police to even the Secret Police, the evil that monitors even the other evil.
