the skin color
They had altered nose bridges, foreheads and inner eye corners. (They just did not have that jagged ridge like TNG Romulans.) It was a good look, I wouldn't have minded if they had used it for Vulcans too.
I think shaved head is reserved for the priests on Vulcan:
Incidentally, also protectors of the Tri-Force.
Not the same skin color, or close really. On the color wheel that is more blue than green.

Well we know the Discovery's CMO is Andorian. Maybe the one we saw in the last episode is the CMO in the non mirror universe.

I believe Lorca mentioned the CMO was Andorian. IIRC.

I recall the CMO had to perform a tonsillectomy on an Andorian, but not that he was an Andorian.
I didn't think the look was necessarily bad, although the extra eye ridges weren't my favorite. Still not a bad look, but in my opinion the pinnacle of the Andorian look would be Jeffrey Combs portrayal of Shran.
And pretty cool. My favorite reimagining of a classic Trek species in the new series.
Agreed. I enjoy the new Andorian look and it's not all that radically different from the ENT makeup design, but Combs ruled both the role of an Andorian and the makeup for them.
Combs owned almost every role he was given in Star Trek, with the exception of that one shot role on VOY with The Rock.
