Best Star Trek episodes about marriage/weddings?

So, I got engaged yesterday and wanted to spend some remaining time as a bachelor revisiting a Trek episode about marriage/weddings as a kind of symbolic preparation. Trek has always been a show I use to mark significant moments in my life; years ago I was best man at my father's wedding and I re-watched DS9's The Visitor beforehand (superb choice).

So, lay it on me Trek fans. Which are your best Trek episodes with the theme of marriage or weddings? At first I thought of Balance of Terror (it's my favorite TOS episode) but, considering what happens to the happy couple by the end of the episode, maybe it isn't the best choice. ;)

Congratulations on the engagement!

I like "'Til Death Do Us Part", the actual Sisko/Yates wedding is simple and understated spent with those nearest and dearest to them rather than going for the spectacle.

I think the only episode wherein marriage is the central focus, not just an aspect, is "Change of Heart." There are also episodes that look at the challenges of marriage, like "Lineage."

Unless it's an arranged marriage to someone you never met, I'd stay away from "Elaan of Troyius."

Or "The Perfect Mate" or "Precious Cargo."

How could I have forgotten that one?

Great episode. One of my favorites.

Agree...I'm a huge sucker for Lower Decks and Data's Day in that they show "real life" aboard a starship. I can't recall if there are episodes like that on DS9 or VOY, but I'll need to investigate!

Call To Arms is a great episode featuring a wedding.

All the other unmentioned ones I can think of that feature engagements are terrible TNG episodes.

Congrats on your engagement.

Does "Amok Time" count as a marriage episode? It had something to do with matrimony, albeit Vulcan style -- brutal, violent and apparently a lack of any love; nevertheless, a good ep.

The first one that springs to mind is "Data's Day", the second one was "Balance of Terror" though given what happend in the latter I think the former is the better choice. It also has the advantage that we would get to see how this marriage develops of the course of time (to a certain extent).
