New Andorians

Kinda weird we're only seeing these classic aliens in the mirror universe and (Vulcans and Klingons aslide), it's been 100% new aliens in the regular Discoverse thus far.

I hope that Andorians and Tellarites join the crew when they return to our universe. they need a new doctor and security chief

Both look great. I still don't like the Klingon redesign. They really don't look enough like Klingons for me.

I too liked the ENT ones a damned lot. However, these do look less like Blue humans.

That Tellarite is horrible. Just count how many fingers he has.

I'm going to boycott the show until they restore the correct amount of fingers on the Tellarites.

The New Tellarites almost look more Klingon that the Klingons, if they could have put that hair on the Klingons.

most of the background Klingons look more Reptilian, I felt T'Kuvma has been the most Klingon looking one so far

I thought both the Andorians and Tellarites looked fantastic. Really, I think the makeup department has been outstanding across the board.

In the scene where Burnham is asking Voq how he united all the different species, when the Andorian is shown I think the antenna moves.

Are we going to see Andorian refer to humans as "pink skin" (Burnham excepted), or was that a Shran thing?

While the Andorians might be vaguely recognizable as a very distance offshot, without being told the Tellarites were Tellarites you would have no idea they were.

Wrong. They’re instantly recognizable to anyone who knows what they’re supposed to be. Not even remotely problematic.

True, they are not as corny or cheap looking, but they are in line with what Trek has always claimed a Tellarite was, kinda pig like.
