Well hell, if we're going to mix franchises, let me throw Jar Jar Binks in the mix as emperor of the MU.

Obviously the Emperor is Sarek. Or why would Spock be in the Imperial starfleet at all?
He's part of the rebellion, you see him in the preview for next week.
Amanda is the Emperor, years later Sarek is killed by Spock and as a reward becomes XO of the Enterprise.

But seriously, bringing Georgiou back as a descendant Of Hoshi Sato would make sense. What would make even more sense from a series continuity POV would be to bring back Linda Park as Hoshi Sato’s genetically modified descendant.

I also think it's definitely Georgiou; dramatic rules practically demand it for the conclusion of Burnham's character arc. Not to mention it would also explain why her counterpart was tasked with tracking down Mirror Lorca - who better to send on a risky special mission than your own protégé?
This. Hoshi continually cloning herself to create a dynasty in the EU was stretching my suspension of disbelief. It's almost as if she just stole that page from the Palpatine handbook.
I still think that could be canon to the prequels. Jar Jar was at the emperors side the whole time. He could have been using mind control powers to manipulate palpatine and the jedi, all under the guise of a fool. "Drunken Ninja Master" style misdirection. Check out the "Darth Jar Jar" theories on line. Its actually fascinating.
That's pretty much a foregone conclusion, innit? It's called the TERRAN Empire for a reason.
