Could be like the Gallifreyan bowships. Meant for shooting really big vampires.

Another beautiful work of art. Is this a side view or a top view?

The longbow (or hammerhead) would be useful for ramming into the sides of Imperial Star-destroyers and causing two of them to collide.

I hope you're making other views of this, because I'm having trouble making sense of it. Neat concept though!

That only happens in movies. Really silly movies.

That is a VERY cool ship! I'm guessing the "bow" consists of the warp nacelles (with the Bussards facing forwards at the tips) and deflector dish; that then blends into a teardrop-shaped upper hull (with the bridge on top and impulse engines or shuttlebays at the rear); then the lower hull is circular, possibly with cut-outs where those dark bits are (shuttle/cargo bays?)?
I'd love to see other views, too, if you've done them.

    Thanks everyone!

That is rather astute deduction bro...Nicely done!
Either I am getting a bit predictable, or maybe, you're tapping into my madness :D

Now that is quite a spectacular shape for a ship, this view does it much more justice. :mallory::techman:

Reminds me of ships from Tenchi Muyo anime series :)

It looks like a cross between DS9 and a starfleet ship

    I like it

    - You're certainly not predictable! And as for madness, I'm hardly one to say ;) No, my extrapolation is a testament to the skill of your rendering - For me, the angles of the panel lines/shield grid seem to dictate the shape or curvature of the hulls, then it's looking out for recognisable features. As close as I was with my description, I didn't think the lower hull would have an unbroken circumference, and I thought the aft end of the upper hull would be more rounded rather than arrow-head (or Voyager) shaped.
It really is a stunning design. I like to imagine that some of the Federation's far flung shipyards might design and build such wonderfully distinctive starships.

Thanks again! Excellent idea of the further away you are from SF Command the more "exotic" the vessels. That makes a lot more sense as the races further "out there" would be less homogenized, especially so, as those races would be generally "newer" to the Federation.
