I like the script - it's economical, moves the (TOS non-) action along, captures the tone of the show and is slyly humorous.

I've watched a lot worse, and these guys were 15.

It reminds me slightly of the first Exeter - the effects are all improvised and practical. It's done in an early home video, pre-computer effects era.

Fascinating, it's interesting to see some of his career potential at that age.

That's really cool, and impressive. Is there any more than this one segment?

I love this as well! I think this alone moves him up the chart of our nerd Gods into the top 5 list. I'm guessing now the list is:

    1 Bruce Campbell
    2 Seth MacFarlande
    3 Weird Al Yankovic
    4 Kevin Smith
    5 Joss Whedon

    Jason

LOL, they've got the nacelles attached incorrectly on their model. Some fans! And I see McFarlane's acting hasn't improved much since this. :p

I think the nacelles are simply dropping...you can see a gap at the middle top where the two "strongback" halves are separating behind the connecting dorsal.

    Well, he'd already achieved Trek-standard. :p
