I sometimes think about trying the violin because of Data (though I know this is terribly hard to play), so I guess we're a bunch of people here in the same situation XD

I come from the city where the eponymous Earl Grey made his first smoked tea leaf brew, so if I'm being a dick I can claim I was guzzling that stuff way before I'd ever seen TNG.

I guess I'm a little bit fortunate because I have been playing guitar since the 90s, not a violin but a string instrument.

@JesterFace : the only string instrument I ever played was piano and it was...hard. I mean, like, freaking HARD !
I could barely play Au clair de la Lune (which is supposed to be a very easy tune)...
