Yeah, I understand the worry, but Netflix had been aware of those allegations for months before doing anything (as oppose to Kevin Spacey) and now it coincidentally happens after one of the victims confronted a Netflix executive. Maybe it is a coincidence, but I highly doubt it.
That's the other thing. They fired him ONLY after one of the victims confronted Netflix. Netflix should have asked for their story months ago. We need more dialog on issues instead of ignoring them or yelling. But this video is great, I love.
So, you would think I deny these things happen? Not in the West. Among children. We are mostly adults here, and know better. That is generally good advice. The human mating processes are fascinating. Did you know that the human female, generally, instinctively tries to look more attractive during menstruation? Investigating a reported crime is how civilized society deals with such matters. Is this about Trump talking about how women let him touch them?
Not surprising. Between the media glut of the big Marvel and lesser-successful DC movies, SHIELD (whose future has been questionable for some time) and the myriad of things on Netflix and the CW, I think genre audiences are starting to experience super hero fatigue.
Well, that and by most accounts, the show sucked. I can't attest to that claim since the reviews were so negative that I didn't bother, but based on what I've read about it, it sounds like I didn't miss anything.
Wasn't a huge fan. I think the finale here is this week, but I had been watching til a fortnight ago. The Tivo jammed about ten minutes into that episode and I haven't been bothered to try and catchup or watch last weeks yet. As for superhero fatigue, not for me. I'm still enjoying the CW ones, actually liking The Gifted so far and waiting for Shield to return.
I didn't watch Inhumans because when they first announced it, I didn't particular care because Agents of Shield had already covered the subject. The announcement of a Friday night slot made it likely that cancellation was likely and I hate uncompleted stories. The final nail in the coffin was a combination of the god awful trailer along with the reviews so I doubt I will ever watch it.
The Netflix Marvel shows have generally been well done (Iron Fist being the weakest link). I gave up on Agents of Shield and the Gifted early on and never bothered with Inhumans. Legion is really interesting to watch. I still watch all the CW DC shows for completeness (and at least liking the characters/actors), but Supergirl and Arrow have been a bit painful to sit through at times. The Flash and Legends are still fun, bit you really have to be okay with the ridiculousness of the plotting (particularly on Legends).
And another one bites the dust.... Mario Batali has left The Chew for the now normal reason of sexual misconduct. That sucks, I love The Chew and it became truly awesome after the awful Oz daughter left. Time to find a new co-host. And in canceled show news. I think the first 2018 cancelation will be LA To Vegas. The commercials are some of the worst I have ever seen. Unless it's supposed to be paired with Family Guy it's DOA.
Does Family Guy now have unwritten renewal as long as Seth MacFarlane wants to do it? It hit the downward spiral quicker than The Simpsons did. They lost me the moment Peter got too stupid to function on a day to day basis and the political jokes constantly.
It's been awful for years and years, hell decades now. But people are stupid. I watched it for the first time in years Sunday, it was terrible. The Bob's Burgers before it was amazing.
Prison Break is getting a 6th season. Curb Your Enthusiasm is getting a tenth. Also some actor on iZombie had sexual misconduct allegations towards him. CW looked into it and he has behaved on the show so he will be staying. So yeah the studios check before firing people.
