Well, I figured they'd need to get Oliver back in the hood before the crossover. Although it's heartening that Oliver sees it as filling in temporarily -- that suggests the Diggle-as-Arrow arc isn't over yet, just taking a detour to accommodate the crossover.
I'm starting to think Agent Watson is working with Cayden James. Her mysterious evidence against Oliver could have come from James, and her vindictive act of arresting him in front of his son could have been payback from James for the Arrow's perceived role in the loss of his son. Then again, maybe I just want her to be evil because she's really, really obnoxious.
I wonder, though, when Watson expressed her disdain for the idea of vigilantes hiding behind masks, does that include Team Flash? And does she really expect that her vendetta against vigilantes in Star City would have an impact on the beloved, police-friendly superheroes of Central City? It continues to be weird to me how differently the two cities treat their resident heroes.
And I actually kind of hope James is lying about the loss of his son being his motive. I mean, Prometheus's motive last year was to get revenge on Oliver for killing his father, so this is a bit of a rehash if it's true. Hopefully he's after something else and is just distracting the team with a red herring.
Yay, Thea's awake! I was kind of expecting that, actually, since it didn't seem likely that Willa Holland would show up for this episode just to lie unconscious in a bed, but it was still a happy moment when it came. I wonder where she'll go from here. I get the impression Holland won't be part of the (theoretically) regular cast much longer, but under the circumstances, it would really help Team Arrow to have Speedy back on board.
