Baby Groot and Pickle Rick...

Sibyl

Caffeine Pill Popper

I'm sick to death of Baby Groot and Pickle Rick!

Aw, goddammit! Not Porgs, too!

Go away!

I've been hanging out on certain Facebook Groups too much...

I'm sure.

I need to say, though, that I was just the right age at the time that I loved the Ewoks. I wanted to be Wicket.

I don't think the Prequels were made for me, though. I don't think Disney has me (or people like me) in mind, either.

So this is the thing from your avatar? What exactly is it? It looks like a cross between a dog and a bat...
They're like an alien puffin, and they live on the island planet (Ahch-To) that Luke Skywalker exiled himself to in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi.

One of them is also Chewbacca's new BFF and rides shotgun with him in the Millennium Falcon now that Han is gone:

They are also the subject of extensive memery:

And merchandised like there's no tomorrow, as Star Wars always does:

A flock of porgs is a "murder"? :guffaw:

I'd like to murder a flock of Porgs and whoever created them (er, maybe a little harsh)...

I think I get this one...

STL is a popular 3d printing model file format. People on 3d printing FB groups tend to post, "STL?", often with little else, and often without even the question mark, when presented with someone's amazing print. There was a meme with the seagulls from, I believe, Finding Nemo that were crying, "Mine!" that someone added a bunch of "STL?"s to. My take on this is that if you cannot create your own damn models (and STLs), you'll go the way of the Dodo (as seen here from Ice Age). People seem to miss that particular nuance.

Baby Groot is adorable in the movie, but not when every third print done by a hobbyist is one of them. I don't know the first thing about Porgs other than they're almost as bad as Jar Jar. I hate them mostly because they're an obvious Disney Marketing Tool, while I loved the Ewoks.

Sorry, never seen Rick and Morty, but I've seen enough Pickle Ricks to make me not want to buy a jar of pickles ever again.

Oh. Looks like I didn't get it then. In fact I totally missed the boat, so to speak.

I don't know why I did that, actually. Those birds aren't even cardinals.

Thank you for the information. That's actually quite a lot of detail... did I miss a Star Wars movie somewhere? *checks* No? OK, then.

Please turn in your nerd card immediately.

Um, yeah, I wasn't even going to mention the fact that I have no clue what a "Pickle Rick" is...

I don't think you need to worry about that one. I had no idea what a Rick nor a Morty were before getting into home 3d printing, much less a Pickle Rick. Grrr...What has been seen cannot be unseen.
