I'll cancel during the midseason and interseason hiatus. I might have kept it for midseason hiatus, but the 1990s series I was interested in (JAG) is missing about half the eps on AA, and that just irritated me.

Hell no. Soon as I've gotten to watch the episode with my dad, I'm slaying it until January.

Unless they give me another free month for cancelling, that is. :D

Nope. I'll resubscribe in January. And then cancel again when the season is over.

I am making the most of this CBSAA investment by watching Mission Impossible, Odd Couple, and Brady Bunch too. I'll cancel when the DSC blu-ray comes out. I own all the other Trek shows, and like having them available any time the mood strikes.

I just cancelled through my Roku, it was easier than I thought. My last payment goes through November 24. So I have time to rewatch the existing episodes or anything else I want. I will resign up when renew episodes begin.

If they had the remastered versions of The Next Generation available I would have kept it, having never bought all the Blu Rays.

I will cancel it after the next six episodes air. I haven’t gotten around to watching The Good Fight yet, so will probably watch that in December. I got sick of commercials and upgraded to the $10 per month subscription, but will certainly not keep it after Star Trek is done.

I clicked cancel and it offered me 50% off for the next two months if I stayed. So I stayed.

What kind of fallout would potentially result if CBSAA sees massive drop-offs just because DSC is on hiatus? Good for Trek? Bad for Trek?

I'd say good. Shows there is a massive demand for Trek. Maybe they would add another show to complement DSC in the future. Trek all year!

Unfortunately it might also spell the end of Trek on standard broadcast tv, ever, if this turns into a huge cash cow for CBS. Double edged sword for sure.

They're probably expecting some drop and will be aware they need to fill out their schedule more. I'm planning to keep it for at least the winter hiatus because I've got a lot of Elementary to catch up on and I need something to watch while I'm exercising now that it's too dark after work to jog.

CBS would probably have to plan more Star Trek series if there are too many cancellations.

I'll probably cancel when Discovery's first season ends, but if Good Fight S2 is scheduled to start not too long after that, I might wait to cancel after that ends.

I think I'll stick with it. I really like the option of watching Sunday Morning when my hungover carcass finally stirs on Sunday afternoon, and I like Madam Secretary (it owes a big debt to The West Wing, but it's leagues classier than the trashy-and-proud-of-it Scandal and House of Cards) and Bull (which is suddenly very good, thanks to new showrunner Glenn Gordon Caron of Moonlighting fame).

Yeah, I enjoy Madam Secretary as well. I watch that on traditional CBS though. I'm assuming you don't have cable.

I turned off auto-renewal on Amazon, so no more CBSAA after Nov 24th. I'll pick it back up once season one is done and I can binge the final season one episodes, then drop it again.

I'm lazy. I'll keep it and forget about it until needed.

    I'm CBS AA's target audience.

I watch it over a friends account so it depends on what he does =)

The deal was for him to sign up for the first part and I would sign up for the second part to maximize free time. But hypothetically, I will only pay for the show when it has new Star Trek on it. I hate CBS and the types of shows it airs (except for Trek) and have no desire to watch any of that drek.
