The "Tyler is Voq" theory has several huge holes in it that I have yet to see anyone even attempt to fill:
1) The fact that Tyler speaks English flawlessly (there's no chance in heck that Voq could've learned perfect English in 3 weeks or less)

2) The fact that Tyler has an actual verifiable history and service record that the Klingons could not have faked

3) The fact that there's no way the Klingons could've changed Voq's internal physiology and/or made it undetectable to medical scans

4) The fact that there's no way the Klingons could've implanted the personality and memories of the real Ash Tyler into Voq without creating detectable anomalies that would show up on a medical scan

The canon database is an unreliable source of information. The statement stands, no conclusive evidence. A stronger statement of authority on the matter is needed. Referencing licensed material into an episode does not make everything in that licensed material canon.

There's as much evidence that Star Trek: The Animated Series is canon as there is that Star Trek: Enterprise or Star Trek: Voyager is canon. CBS hasn't released an official list of canon resources (outside of their canon database on their website, of course). The only thing that places TAS outside of canon is an abandoned licensing policy from the 1980s and some non-canon reference materials.

There's nothing wrong with Stella.

Her personality is agreeable, loving and pleasant.

Unless he doesn't like being kept as the toy of the idle rich?

Is Mudd gay?

If Ash is Voq, this is about when he should have broken character, with the promise of a reset in 15 minutes, just to see how everything played out. Especially if the ship is about to be sold to a Klingon faction that he is not fond of.

He doesn't know.

That idea makes no sense whatsoever.

That's my theory. That the Tyler programming is just on the surface and isn't actively aware when he does things nonchalantly to the benefit of House Mokai. It's possible that a Mokai ship was the one cloaked nearby in this episode, and they (and Mudd, who was their prisoner, btw) may have gotten the location or flight plan of Discovery from Tyler in the first place.

This show sucks so bad. I can't believe that it has come down to Burnham and Tyler having to kiss each other as what makes her a lead character of worth. The love of a man. How old fashioned is that?

Because anyone with that level of tech would be impossible for him to steal from. he might be able to con a species, but if its not expressley said it doesn't count. Even the stupid androids in one of his TOS episodes were advanced androids he tricked, he didn't steal them. They also couldn't start time loops, and that's the biggest issue. Anyone with that tech he could steal from, and on a point I just thought of if he has that tech why would he use it on some vendetta and not to become rich?

He did use it to become rich. Tyler mentioned that Mudd used a time crystal to rob a Betazoid bank at some point. The crystals are only good for a set time, at which point they disappear unless activated (and apparently send the user into himself at the beginning of the time loop).

All of which are easily answerable....Arne Darvin, Augment Vírus, Surgery, Mind Sifter, and he’s a very dedicated fast learner...let’s be honest, the dude was already an outlier among Klingons. Plus...Klingon Officers always speak Federation Standard (aka English) flawlessly. Some of them better than the main cast....(that’s a wink nudge joke about English Versus, American English, not a comment on the standard of acting...)
It’s easily doable, though maybe it is all a red herring. Maybe.
We have seen it done by Cardassians in other Trek shows, and by humans (Kirk undercover as Romulan, Sisko as Klingon, etc etc...)
In universe, it is acceptably plausible, and even quite a good idea with that Matriarchs line suggesting use of the Augment virus as a tool.

Arne Darvin was revealed by two hissing Tribbles and a 5-second long tricorder scan.

If they fixed the virus, so that it didn't end in death, but still went to stage three, where the infected becomes superior, that would cover everything.

None of which seems to have been used so far...only onscreen Tribble was in pieces. And he went undetected prior to that...and possibly a long time after.
