Secondly, and I said this when it was first rumoured, but for me pairing the first female Doctor with a white bloke who's older and better known that her suggests a lack of faith.
And Sharon D Clarke in a recurring role... As Ryan's Mum? Or possibly a new UNIT liaison since Jodie will look too similar to Jemma Redgrave in long shots (assuming she's keeping the blonde hair)? Or Missy Mark Two?
Or a recurring original villain? Would be good to have another of those.
Man.. you sure have a problem with older white blokes.. you said the same thing in the Jodie Whittaker is the doctor post..sheesh! give it a rest.. is it because you are worried Jodie can't toe the line?? If you have faith in her as the Doctor (which I do not) then you shouldn't have an issue with a "older White Bloke" playing the companion..Fair point, although he's still an older white bloke, irrespective of how well you know him, and I don't think UK based posters would disagree that most people know Walsh better in the UK.

Another thing Stark.. if you switched White with any other colour, you'd be called a racist.. I guess as is, it's okay.. (Rolls Eyes)
