EDIT: No idea what the date issue is. I logged out of my account and typed in dates 4 different ways and they all worked.
As to Timeframe, okay, but I want someone to propose a limited set, like Pre-Enterprise, Enterprise era, Discovery era, TOS era, TNG era, post-TNG era or something like that. My experience is that you have to limit such keys or they become unwieldy if not unusable.
I included the Vimeo option for those who feel their films look better there, but you're under no obligation to use it.

Yes, our website is now the official website for New Voyages: Phase II. James had to close down the US websites as part of the agreement with CBS to be able to licence the Set Tour. Our website then took over responsibility for the New Voyages project, which is fully approved by James Cawley.
We had already been running the website for years, catering for the international audience. That is why our website runs in English, French, German and Spanish with subtitles in many more languages.
Okay, 113 films there now (link), counting films uploaded as multiple parts as single films, not each segment). Have a peek at the work in progress.

So, I added an "Era" column in place of the Direct Download column, and made it and the Format and Style columns all work from lists containing a limited range of options. Let me know if you have issues with any of the ones I created.
I also just re-sorted the sheet so it lists each production group in order of when they released their first film, which allows one to see which group came into the fold at what point but doesn't scatter the films all over the place by individual episode release dates. So Star Trix comes first (at 1974), Star Trash (1980), Star Trash: The Nixed Generation (1995), Starship Exeter (2002), New Voyages (2004), etc. I'll periodically re-sort to maintain this, but eventually I'll set it up so viewers can re-sort it without affecting the underlying order.

The running time got trashed for many of the episodes. Instead of the time, you just see a number less than 1.
I am using Chrome. I just looked again and the problem is still there. Here is a screenshot.

I just noticed that I was looking at the "Locked Master Copy" tab, as that is what it opened on by default. If I switch to "Public Edit," it looks normal.
Star Trek Reviewed has links to almost 2000 Star Trek Fan Films, and the longer ones (over 10 minutes, or produced by people who did a total of over 10 minutes) are organized by era. I tried having my "Definitive List" thread updated several times in the past few years, but the mod responsible for the forum did not answer any of my PM's.
I have an updated version that is current through the release of Horizon on my hard drive, if the new mod wants it. That's not perfect, but it's a heck of a lot better than what's there right now, which is now eight years out-of-date. Might be a useful stopgap while a new system is devised, or maybe I could hand off the torch to somebody else and they can keep the list updated.
It is worth noting, of course, that I got virtually all the information for my update from Star Trek Reviewed, which is the actual definitive source for this sort of thing, and has been for a few years now.

I have no idea why Greg never dealt with the old Definitive List and Fan Productions: Titles, Description and Links topics. I emailed him about it, but nada. He was a nice guy but as a moderator he was a little too hands-off.
My attempt to put everything in a spreadsheet is simply to assemble information in a manner that is easily sortable, rearrangeable and scannable without the in and out and up and down of pages on a website or blog. I figured since a number of fan filmmakers are here, why not let them put edit and add their own entries, and, as per my discussion with startrekphase2, one additional goal is to figure out which version of any given film is the main/official one so that any traffic gets directed to it rather than a duplicate. Finally, I want to encourage the fan filmmakers themselves to set up playlists of their work so we could point to the films in those and potentially lead viewers to discover more of the films without having to do anything since the playlist auto-runs the next film unless you stop it.
I elected to include slots for social media, and included a column for putting archival (e.g. Wayback Machine) links for defunct sites. In fact. when I find an old fanfilm site I actually push the button to make the Wayback Machine archive it then and there so there's a copy in existence should the domain lapse. EDIT: In fact, I just looked at some entries for the Finnish made Star Wreck on Barb's site and the homepage links are dead, which is why we need to Wayback these babies while they're alive!
In short, this is a tool for the fan filmmakers here, and not intended to supplant anything else. It's for not reviews or ratings. It's data, pure and simple.

I am the founder of Star Trek Reviewed but I no longer consider it "my" website. Although with treatment, I may yet live for years (I also may not; I have recurrent incurable cancer and didn't want all the work I did to disappear.)
I have added The Star Trix Movie and Star Trash to it, as did not have those.
I don't actually know where things stand on the redesign. However, the STR membership now includes people archiving Star Trek Fan Films. The idea of archiving Star Trek Fan Film websites, however, to the best of my knowledge is not being done. Perhaps we should add that.
In fact, there are many dead links, and at least one person is working on removing those.
Keeping it current given the huge number of ST fan films is more than I could have done alone even if I had been well. We also hope to host ST fan film reviews, many of which have disappeared from the web after being published years ago.
We do not plan to 'host' Star Trek Fan Films. There are many websites for hosting films.
Maurice, If you were interested in working with the expanded control group, I believe the board would be happy to add you. I would have to ask, as I said, it is no longer 'my' website, I just have one vote.
Actually, I prefer the spreadsheet, and once its complete, we can create an app that would display the information Maurice is compiling into a very nice presentation.

On YouTube, I see you made some playlists for your films, but I notice that the links you shared to the spreadsheet point t the film along without the playlist info, which would drop anyone who clicked into any film into it;s place in the playlist. For instance, the link for "We Few" is...

...but if the link were this one...
...it would drop any viewer into your playlist, leading automatically into "The Void".
Might I at the very least suggest that on each film you could use the End Screen and Annotations feature to put a link to a next film at the end of each, or point them into a playlist?
Again, just trying to make this stuff all "discoverable".

I second the annotations or end screens on YouTube. If your viewers are already there, give them some place to go right afterwards in case they want to keep watching.

I imagine we won't get to a perfect list but the combination of film and site links plus reviews seems best. If I hear about Star Trek Banzai (not a real fan film
) then I might want to read or listen to a review before I watch it to see if it's worth my time, or to read/watch a review afterwards if I want to discuss the film with others. The sites of course are key if I want to find out what else the cast and crew have done. I would also suggest FB pages and Twitter. Maybe no more than that as films are a lot less likely to have Tumblr etc - Facebook and Twitter are the really big gorillas so including them could be of help.

I'm not very strong into social media save for FaceBook where Potemkin Pictures maintains a strong presence. I'm still trying to figure out Instagram, Twitter and SnapChat and can't figure out why for the life of me that they're so popular.
