WB's Justice League 2017 movie pre-discussion thread

When the public think of Green Lantern they are reminded of that terrible Ryan Reynolds movie.

At this point, having GL in JL would hurt it more than help.

Maybe when they make the new GL movie, they can start fixing the character by putting out a decent movie.

Besides, we all know the best version of GL was John Stewart from the JL and JLU cartoons, which will NEVER be topped.:D

I don't think the average moviegoer really remembers the GL movie at this point. That was six years ago, and now people think of Deadpool when they see Reynolds.
 
If a Lantern appears in this movie(and that's a big if) it would probably be in the history part, helping the Amazons and Atlanteans kick Darkseid off the planet the first time.

So, the only DCEU actor in the movie with less ability to emote then Henry Cavil gets billing over literally the best person in the DCEU. Its not like Amy Adams is all that famous anyway, so she must just have a really good agent. Either that or the stupid Enchanted movie somehow gives her seniority. The worst female actor on that list (and I say that as someone who thinks Diane Lane is pretty terrible) getting billing over the best is just pathetic, but it probably happened because of her agent making deals or some obscure union rule.

You actually think Amy Adams career peaked at Enchanted? She's been nominated for the Academy Award five times. Though probably for films you have no interest in. I think her resume is pretty solid and that's why she get's hired. She's definitely A list.
 
At this point if they were to introduce another JL member, I'd rather get another woman.

Adams's smart and soulful Lois is one of the very best things about the DCEU, and pretty much its most recognizably human character (at least until she was joined by Wonder Woman and her supporting cast).
 
Well, we should be getting her in the Justice League Dark movie, if it ever actually happens, so that's not out of the realm of possibility.
