^^Do you have a link? I just searched Amazon UK, both by checking Star Trek novels and Dayton Ward novels and nothing turned up.

By the way, i wonder how the books will explain Kol being the father of Kor instead of Rynar.

For a man pretending to follow the teachings of Kahless, he was acting very dishonorable and almost romulanlike, when he
destroyed the ship of the admiral after accepting an armistice in "Battle at the Binary Stars"
I wonder how later Klingons like Worf, Martok or especially the Kahless clone look at his actions.

Klingon honor is not what you think it is. By the standard you're applying, how honorable is an invisibility cloak?

But there's a difference to use a cloaking device in a battle or a klingon strategy like during "Blood Oath" and a kind of treachery like T'Kuvma was using imo. That was the kind of treachery, the Klingons despise the Romulans for.

Shouldn't this thread be intergarted into the Discovery and the Novelverse thread or be up in the main Discovery forum @trampledamage?

The Third Precept of The Klingon Art of War is "Always face your enemy." Sneaking up on an enemy while cloaked and then revealing yourself to strike openly is one thing. You're using concealment to your advantage but still exposing yourself to a fair fight when the time comes to strike. But striking while still cloaked is a whole other matter, far more treacherous.

Of course, there's nothing remotely unusual about a demagogue claiming to stand for religious principles that they actually defy.

Has it been said that Kol is Kor's father? I thought he was just a member of the same House.

IIRC, Kenneth Mitchell's comments (that Kol is a member of Kor's house) are all that's been said on the subject.

Besides, we already know that Kor's father is Rynar. The DSC writers seem to be quick enough on the uptake that they wouldn't forget that. More obscure details have already found their way onto the show, so I doubt they'd miss this.

I'm not sure, but wasn't it mentioned in an article before the show started?

Even if it was, that doesn't necessarily make it true. Reporters are not infallible.

It was a good few pages in when I was doing a general search for Star Trek Discovery looking to see if any sellers were listing the uniform t-shirts.

Ah, I just did a general search for Star Trek, and then one of Dayton Ward.

Honour seems to be an "ends justifies the means" mentality, if the end result is victory. Although technically they weren't really at war at this point.

WORF: Sir, I strongly recommend against that. It is likely there are cloaked Klingon warships in the vicinity, lying in wait.
BASHIR: Well that doesn't sound very honourable to me.
WORF: In war, there is nothing more honourable than victory.
