I'd say NOT the Shenzhou. the nacelles and pylons are different; pylons significantly so without the bar-like section between them. Plus this one seems to have a bulk at the back of them. Plus the saucer looks thicker, whereas Shenzhou has a more pointed edge and more pronounced struts on top (which also have more detail at the back - and big numbers on it's sides)
There 4 different starfleet ships in the background in that scene, I don't think any are discovery though. They're also in the earlier scene when the klingons first fire on them. Edit: Definitely one that looks like the miranda class, one with the nacelles above the saucer, one that might be the europa and on second thoughts I think the one in the distance is probably klingon.

"#StarTrekDiscovery went quite boldly in its first 2 episodes w/ an incredibly charming cast & shocking twists. A promising start". Don't you dare get my hopes up Dan Casey!!!!
I think many here would like to head over to Twitter, search #StarTrekDiscovery, sort by latest and have a read-through. Pretty interesting stuff being said immediately post-premiere.

It's a head scratcher. Lol These twitter reactions are why the red flag would have been no screening. Even with a review embargo people will give first impressions.
Obligatory hyper-critical Trekkie chiming in about how with all these positive Twitter reviews, STD must really suck, in 3... 2... 1...
I believe the implication was that it was to prevent the leak of the shocking twists rather than fear of negative reactions. Sounds like the show will be great!

Um, these two videos were available to fans yesterday (I know because I started a thread one one of them and a thread for the other was already up yesterday too.)
