Hey all,

I'm gonna take a chance and link to something I wrote a month back. In July, I attended a dinner in L.A. hosted by the DS9 documentary folks. I went alone, which was insane because I suffer from social anxiety. Selfishly, I think the experience is worth sharing. :-) I'd love to hear feedback from anyone interested in reading.

Thank you for posting about the evening! It may help other socially anxious people work through it for enjoyable evenings. I enjoyed hearing what happened during the evening which alas I couldn't attend.

I thought about it, but couldn't really justify the trip, leaving the teen child at home with some friend for the weekend etc. I'm glad it went well for you!
