Star Trek Voyager Desktop Wallpapers

You know what, Thomas Eugene, you made me want to watch Timeless again, in enjoying a good meal (= pizza)! Appointment is made for Saturday, in the company of Harry, Chakotay, Seven and the Doctor! THANK YOU!!! :techman:
Have a nice icy drink to wash down the pizza and brace yourself for Voyager crash landing.

 A remarquable scene btw but less spectacular than the crash landing of Concord on amidst the alpine snowy mountains in Airport 1980, with Alain Delon/Robert Wagner/George Kennedy amongst others).

NB: please, watch from 1h31 (the crash landing in itself is from 1h40). If you have not
gooseflesh after this... . The scene from 45'10 with the missiles is not bad either!

Thank you, Thomas Eugene, to have correct me, it was effectively a single episode (but I liked it so much that - well, maybe not at this point but, it was a pretty good story, I have to admit it! :-)
Sorry, I hope you don't mind.
TIMELESS is great - but which VOY ep isn't? There are only very few. Are you going to watch it with friends? I normally watch VOY alone, although that's not surprising since I watch it all the time. Next ep is HUMAN ERROR, which means I am about to bring them home for the 36th time! And then, of course, I will send them back to the Delta Quadrant immediately so that I can start watching the show for 37th time as well!
However, I have a small group of friends who I regularly watch the show with. We meet at my place (sometimes at someone else's) and watch like 10-12 episodes in one sitting! :D

I loved all the AIRPORT films as a child. Whenever they were on, I always watched them. I haven't seen them in a while and this scene with the crash brought nice memories back. I really liked the one that took place under water in the Bermuda Triangle - but then you have a Titanic fan in me and that one was like Titanic but with an aeroplane!

Well, I'm used to watch Voyager alone and sometimes with friends like yesterday, for ex, where I was invited for a birthday dinner and my friends suddenly decided just after the meal, to watch Endgame on Netflix France (the only remaining episode to watch for them and they wanted to do it with me, what was very sweet from them! :)) and we did it but as I already watched it 2 or 3 times, I enjoyed looking their reactions and listening their comments (see my post on "why Chakotay choosed Seven instead Janeway). I spent a great time but God, the awakening at 6:00 am was difficult!! :wah:

I cannot watch more than 2 or 3 episodes each time to really to trully appreciate and only on weekends & days off, when I'm relaxed. That's why I've about 4 months to watch the whole series, the first time!

Well, in January, one of our main broadcastings decided to air all "Aiport" and my favorite ones were "Airport '77" (the one with the plane which crashed under water). The scene where we see the place from the sky was just WOW.

... and "Airport '79 with the Concord (alas they used a British Airways plane instead of an Air France but well, the scenes of the missiles & the landin in snowed Alpine mountains were incredible -> a similar scene in Voyager was less spectaculat for me!

But I love this one(a perfect wallpaper, don't you thin?! :techman:)

No, I don't, sorry. Voyager is like it's just put on the picture without being blended in ... In this way, it is no part of the picture, the layers aren't blended together ... You can see that this is simply three layers mixed together whereas Voyager should have been blended in with the other layers as if it belonged there. This is sloppy Photoshop work, sorry. The idea is nice but the execution is less so ...

Alright. Maybe for a Christmas card from a Voyager fan to his/her friends & relative?! ;-)

I like their facial expressions. Both look cute. They are a perfect match, both with a mind of their own. Tom and B'Elanna are the best Trek couple. I love their screentime together - and it continues in the novels.
I think they are both cute in this picture. :)
Yes, Tom and B'Elanna are the greatest couple that has ever existed in the history of filmmaking. And yes, they look good in the above picture - this is EQUINOX at its best. :D
And you can see them again in today's ONE SMALL STEP wallpaper even though they are not the main focus this time:

Come on, Thomas Eugene, Let's not exaggerate. Yes, Tom and B'Elena are cute together in Voyager though quite mismatched, when you look at it a little better...,what can seduce some and displease see repel others. But
then to say that they represent, "the greatest couple that has ever existed in the history of filmmaking", really?! (you who is a Titanic' s fans, what about Rose & Jack? ;)).

However, I must admit that their love story is the most resulted on 5 series proposed, which in itself speaks volumes about the place of feelings as love, in Star Trek history!

Oh well ... they are the perfect couple for me. I really mean it when I say they are the best in the history of filmmaking. This is how I feel about them.
And as for couples on films ... a definite NO as far as I'm concerned. Or even to characters. Films are simply too short to flesh out a character. You can only get to know characters if they are shown in various different situations and only tv shows are suitable for this. Jack and Rose might have been a charming couple on Titanic ... but God knows what their relationship would have been like had Jack survived. We know hardly anything about them ... a couple of months later their relationship might not even have existed any more after realizing that what drove them into each other's arms was the extreme circumstances under which they met. But those circumstances were over after a few days ... and once they recovered (emotionally) from the shock, they might have realized what an unsuitable match they were.
Of course, the opposite might have been true as well ... The idea is that we don't know.
However, we do see the personal development for Tommyboy and B'Elanna ... and how they stay together in spite of the occasional bumps on the road. Their characters are fleshed out really well ... and with their daughter born in the last moments of the show you really don't have the impression that this relationship will come to an end just because the extreme circumstances under which they have been living for the last seven years cease to exist. In the episodes we often see how much they care about/for each other, how important both of them think that their relationship is ... so yes, the best couple since they started making films in my book.
