I don't know if Peter David made as impassioned a plea as I did to S&S to have his cover re-done. It's also possible that his was released later in the process, or had been sent to the printer early, in which case it would not have been possible to fix it. There are a lot of variables involved in this process.I noted a lot of people on David's facebook complaining it was wrong to begin with, but compare this to another recent cover mix-up, with New Frontier's The Returned, where S&S just published the book with the wrong ship on the cover. So good on everyone involved in getting it right.
Oh yeah, I know! I'm just saying that complaining about a mistake on a cover that gets fixed seems a little silly considering it could have not be fixed.
