The X-Files renewed for season 11

We never actually see the Lone Gunmen die in that episode. Maybe the room had a backdoor. That is if they want to bring them back. That or they could return as clones or even as ghosts.

Or better yet, just Dogget. :p

It would depend on when X-Files shoots and also if Robert Patrick is allowed to work on non-CBS shows while he's contracted to Scorpion, which as an episodic procedural could last 15 years on CBS.

I thought I remembered/heard during the last season it was offered as they shot during the offseason of the Sept-May network shows and he passed on the grounds he doesn't like to revisit/redo old roles.

Have you watched the last finale? They destroyed Reyes character.
I have not. I'm woefully behind on my shows. Of shows I try to stay "current" I just finished Sleepy Hollow this weekend. RIP, I still really enjoyed that show.
Justified, Longmire, GoT and others are on my list including the X-Files revival seasons. Not enough time in my day/week for all interests.
Bummer about Reyes.

Looks great. I wonder what happens that causes Mulder and Scully to stop trusting Skinner this time.

It's funny to see Brian Huskey in the trailer working alongside Mulder and Scully considering his character on People of Earth.

Looks groovy to me. Kind of ominous with Scully in a hospital bed if this will be her last season....

Mulder and Scully look like action heros at times in the teaser video. That is something they never really felt like in the old show even though they had guns and faced criminals and monsters, alot.

Well, they want him back and Robert Patrick wants to return, but there's a scheduling issue. Sounds like we might have something, but it doesn't sound like much if anything. Still, happy news.

That's what I was thinking as well. But to be honest it's the first time I've been remotely excited about season 11.
