200 votes. I wonder what the percentage is of the viewing audience?
I don't like the look of the new Klingons or the Discovery. But both are merely props used to tell a story. It's the story itself that makes the show.

I just hope they do something interesting with the Klingons, because they are the most overused cliché in Star Trek. I'm tired of them, but doing something new and interesting with them and making them fresh again is they key. If not, it'll be a long and boring season.
Exactly.
I think the hair removal is the best part of the new look. It actually makes them look like fucking aliens. Sort of.
I also agree with this.

It still amazes me that any changes are regarded with an air of suspicion without seeing the story.

I wish that the TOS Klingons were a bit more distinct. Maybe they wouldn't change them every decade then. It's beginning to become a bit tedious that they feel the need to completely redesign them each time, and they might even attempt to include a lame "canon" reason for the retcon again, too.

The new Klingons continue to be unbelievably fresh and cool for the Trek franchise

My problem with the Klingons is that in most shots they just look like they're wearing rubber masks. Everything's got a plastic sheen to it.

There's nothing in the trailers so far to suggest that the actors will be able to show any nuance of expression through all this glop.

Hey! It's a Reman!

Also WTF is he holding, some kind of two handed Shuang Gou?
Rare photo of a Klingon farmer...

Sovient analogs are becoming more literal with their Klingon Sickle.

The Klingon god of thunder will smite thee!

Klingons first experimenting with holodecks led to the dramatic retelling of the Klingon gods playing planet pool

Take your pick-I got more:techman:

That's one of the Klingons from the first trailer that were standing on the balcony.

The armour is red, so that is a female Klingon.

The costume displays information plaques at Comic-Con and I'm assuming Celebration said the red ones were worn by Female Klingons.

There's no way that is female...

You're right, that is Voq according to the tweet.

The descriptions with that costume must have been wrong, or I just misunderstood it. That specific uniform on display was probably made for a female cast member.
