Road warrior vampire cars in illegal road races, zipping across the dystopian wasteland of California in a climately challenged financially depressed alternate 1999, feeding on pedestrians.

Seriously.

Alan (Aquaman from Smallville) Ritchson plays a dumb cop in over his head, sucked into this speed racer canniba... No, the cars are not eating other cars, the drivers are feeding people to their cars so... It's really quite disgusting and ridiculous, and the action sequences remind me of the Game Zone in The Running Man, which is not necessarily a good thing?

Good sound track.

Turn your brain off.

Not for the faint of heart, or lite of stomach.

Enjoy.

I haven't quite decided what to make of this yet. I love Repo: The Genetic Opera, so I do occaisionally have a taste for this kind of twisted, crazy shit.
The clips is pretty gory and twisted.

It did crack me up that they showed Mad Max: Fury Road (uncut) as the lead in to this. That seemed like great pairing to me.

Oh, and Colin Cunningham as the big bad made Falling Skies seem like a sack of hot air, where Cunningham played a tiny bad who the hero thought was an indefensibly irrepressibly worse evil than the alien overlord thinning the species.

As if I didn't feel the need to exercise enough already...

That's the first time I remember hearing the f-word going out cleanly on a Syfy show.

Just watched it, what utterly demented trash, I'll keep watching for now.
Basically sums up my feelings. If you're going to make dumb trash might as well crank it to 11.

Wait, they said the F without bleeping it? I didn't think they could do that on any channel that wasn't premium cable like HBO, Starz, Showtime, ect.?

A motherfucker to boot, what was funny is that it was so casually dropped, not even a special moment. Any cable channel can but very few basic cable do. I don't know if that's for fear of upsetting advertisers or just because of long-standing expectations from audiences or what. (The Blood Drive complaint hotline is 325-400-DGAF, BTW)

Lots of man ass as well but that wasn't as fun, lol. The guys in this show are jacked though (hence my comment about exercise).

I watched 1977's THE CAR last night again--does that count?

The guys behind this series need to track that Barris contraption down and use it.
