FYI, Renegades got a seven page comic not too long before it's de-Trekking, explaining how Lexxa is Kahn's daughter.

Not if it's going to be used as yet another money-grab vehicle.
It seems to be largely a way for Alec to slowly back away from Axanar. All he's really done from what I can see is handed over ownership of the FB group, and he's trying to convince those fans to run Axanar tables at conventions so he doesn't have to. Similarly I note he's now got fans running the podcast, so it'll be interesting to see if Alec continues to appear in them.
Largely it seems to be ego now. Keeping the myth of Axanar and Alec Peters going without needing him to work on it.
Maybe eventually some of those fans will get together and just make the film?
The podcast also shows RMB moving on as far as I'm concerned. I'm increasingly convinced over the last couple of years that he was the one actually trying to make a film. Without a filmmaker like him or Christian Gossett driving things it'll be interesting to see if Axanar-lite ever does escape the script stage.
