It doesn't need to be a shot of them actively campaigning, as long as it's a shot from a time on the show when they campaigned.
That said, I kinda like the second one better.

OK, OK, it's actually Janet Eldridge running for re-election to Boston City Council on Cheers.

(If sci-fi was allowed, I would have totally gone with Arcadia Alvarado, even though I'm guessing a lot of people probably don't know who she is! )

I thought it was from the season 4 with Heather Locklear (and the senate race), in the episode they were mistaken for a couple. But I just re-watched the episode on youtube, and didn't find that scene. Right now, I don't know where it's from. I'll change my entry to this.
