Agreed, I think it's the definitive version of that ship.

There's literally no point doing the Beyond-A at this stage because it will likely change if and when there is a fourth Kelvinverse film, just like the ship changed from the end of STID for Beyond.

Exactly this. If someone is a completist (like me) then he wants each and every starship Enterprise. If not, you can choose and buy your favorite variant out of all the releases.

You've got to draw the line somewhere, especially as it's CGI rather than physical models now and changes are simple. The Enterprise-E looked subtly different in her three film appearances. Defiant looked different depending on whether it was the physical model or one of the CGI versions, of which there were a couple.

I think the intention is what counts - broadly the JJ ship was supposed to be the same in ST09 and STID, refitted at the end of that film into the Beyond version. The Beyond-A was barely seen on screen and will doubtless change for Star Trek 4.

We aren't talking about slightly different variants of the same ship. The Ent-A is a totally different and new ship.

The Beyond-A was barely seen on screen and will doubtless change for Star Trek 4.

Besides, all that didn't stop the Enterprise-J from getting an Eaglemoss model.

Got an email finally about the next 2 ships coming to me; They're the two following last month's ships. So I'm still waiting on those 4 ships that are "back-ordered." I'm going to call Eaglemoss later and see about any updates.

UPDATE: Rep told me that as of the last time they had any updates, those four issues were still on back-order for me. She also mentioned the next update on their stock will be next week.

The photos appear to disguise whether the saucer edge windows have been rendered or whether they're missing as they are in the smaller model. Not getting an urge to splurge on this one...
