If it's any consolation, clueless people have been accusing all of us Trekkies of living in our parents' basements for forever. :)

We're still using the basement put-down?

    We need new material.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I was told there would be refreshments.

I have always wanted a basement but they are not that common in Ireland. :(

Basements are money pits. You're better off without them.

I wouldn't mind having a pit of money under my house.

More trouble than it's worth. Especially once the neighbours accidentally find out.

I've added the release month to the table.

I have also added one for the publisher, originally I thought that column wouldn't be necessary, but since Titan Books picked up Prometheus, and I've now added the "fictional" non fiction titles as well there are three players now instead of one.

Looks great. I really like both those additions.

Thanks for updating your site. I've been looking forward to getting the Prometheus books.

So, looks like the publication date of VOY's next new novel, the previously delayed Architects of Infinity, has actually been moved up a week, to 12/19/17 (instead of 12/26), perhaps to help with Christmas sales? This new date now is on the Simon/ Schuster site, Amazon USA, and Amazon Canada.

I noticed on the upcoming fic list there is no TOS? (I know it's probably been mentioned, but I'm way too tired to look for it.) Is no one writing it currently? I mean for this year at all? Or just that Pocket isn't publishing it this year?

I'd wager it's more to avoid the holiday than to take advantage of it. Since Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday this year, a fair amount of businesses will be closed the 25th and 26th, instead of the 24th and 25th. I have no idea how set-in-stone the tradition of Tuesday releases is in S&S's system, so I don't know if they delay would've been a day or a week, but either way, apparently they decided to release a bit early rather than late.

I believe they're avoiding the 23rd century to give breathing room to Discovery, until the show has come out and they have a better idea of how it affects the universe (books can be scheduled a year or two in advance, so even though there are some authors and editors who know what's going on with DSC now, they wouldn't have when the schedules were being built, back when the most we knew was that our nicknames for untitled shows were skipping from Series Five to Series Seven since TAS counts more than it did in 2000). They did the same back in 2009 when the first Kelvin movie came out.

(I just looked it up quickly, and I found only one partial reference online to the fact that we called Enterprise "Series Five" before the title was public. And people say the internet is forever, hmph.)
