I remember them tweaking the agent jumping on the hood of the car shot in every trailer for the Matrix Reloaded from the first teaser right up until the movie's release.

    Now that's a proper-looking Starfleet ship.

Incredibly, the new trailer makes it look even browner than before.

What do you mean by "before"? We haven't seen the USS Shenzhou before.

Based on the trailer, it looks like the all the fans with a perpetual hard-on for the Akira class will be satisfied. :)

It's not the design direction I would have gone with, but it could have been worse.

That's the Shenzou in the trailer. We have yet to see the updated Discovery.

That seems to be the case--unless this is the Enterprise:

Shenzou herself has nacelles below the saucer. These look like raised nacelles attached to the saucer. But there is no up or down in space.

i wanted a McQuarrie design myself.

It's the Shenzou, and that shot is upside down. :) Flip it, and compare it to the shot of the Shenzou penetrating the clouds. Same ship! :)

This is probably an upside shot so we can see the Shenzhou's bridge which is placed at the bottom of the saucer.

I don't see how everyone figures the bridge is on the bottom of the saucer. It doesn't make sense in terms of the internal structure, which is the top half of a dome -- not the bottom.

Look at the supports in the window, they match the set.

Also look at the UI on the window, it matches the UI seen on the view screen on the interior shots. And look at the shot of Michael looking out the window, the angle of the "glass" and its frame.

New image up (click thru to full size image with no date) and tried to improve the resolution on a couple of others (4 and 6.)

Very Nice looking Ship. Not sure if the tri-nacelle pattern would fit it, but with proper texturing, I can see a 23rd century TOS-styled ship in it.

Think that might be the USS Europa now that we've seen it in the new trailer.

It's been answered. That's an upside down shot of the USS Shenzhou.
