EW: Star Trek: Discovery reveals first photo of two cast members

Not too much really to see here. Just your first shot of two characters. And maybe a few props that definitely look Prime. And maybe some shooting in Jordan?

Wow. I know Discovery is the first Trek production where the main shooting is out of the US. I didn't know they were going international. Cool!

The equipment (communicator and tricorder?) does kinda look like (TOS) Starfleet though.

The CBS network upfront is today at 4 EST. Whether or not there will be anything regarding Discovery there, I couldn't tell ya.

The equipment does, but I was referring to the desert clothes which don't resemble DS9's desert clothes which indicated rank and department. Perhaps they're not on official business.
