A forum about headphones? What in the world could keep such a site in business?
I have a love/hate relationship with headphones. I go through them really fast. If I'm at home, and listening to podcast or audio book...and walking around this happens:
Even if I have the cord running down my shirt to my phone which is in my pocket, even the smallest loop hanging out will get caught on a door knob. The earbud is then violently ripped out of my ear and I experience a flash of homicidal rage. I hate that! And it happens EVERY FRICKIN TIME! No matter what precautions I take. If I'm mowing the lawn, they get caught on the handle, or something in the garage, or even worse, the cord will pull my phone right out of my pocket and toss on to the ground like trash...

Yes the HeadHifi is just about headphones and there sound quality.
If you ever need any recommendations please don't hesitate to ask, all of the ones I use have cords that are attached I refuse to embrace the whole Bluetooth way things seem to be going......

OMG I just finished season 3 and I'm heading into season 4 at warp speed ! ! ! upto episode 3.

The writing in these episodes have been really first class !
I did kind of feel season 3 was starting to loose its way a little compared to the first two seasons, but I feel now its back on track in a big way ! ! !

Oh dearie me......please confirm to me I have not gone mad ! ! ! Well you know how much I totally adore and love Voyager....well I'm an a high speed binge watch at the moment, everything seemed to be going fine....no problems......as I have been posting....UNTILL.....I loaded season 4 episode 4 Nemesis....oh my goodness.........oh dear.......sorry...its hard for me to put into words just how bad this episode is ! ! ! ! ! ! in fact its so bad I don't think I am going to try...im starting to wretch just thinking about it. Okay so you get the idea about how I feel about this Episode, i am interested to know......it this just me ? ? ? ? ? Please please post your thoughts on this episode to either confirm or deny to me my very sanity ! ! ! ! ! ! !

It's really not. I wanted to really like Voyager when I first started watching, the premise was interesting and I really enjoyed Janeway, Tuvok, Torres and Kes. Unfortunately, it kept missing it's mark. There was no sense of isolation or desperation to survive, everything just seemed too easy. It should've had more of a BSG or SGU feel to it, to make it feel like a struggle. Add to that characters who never really grew, others that were just dull from start to finish, and those forgotten in favour of Seven and the EMH. Whilst every week seemed to pit them against an evil alien race and they needed to shoot their way through to continue onwards.
Granted, it's been a while since I last watched it (I stopped watching weekly halfway through season six) but these are just the overall impressions I've been left with. It's the series I'm most disappointed in, as it could've been something really great but just comes off as pretty bland most of the time.

It certainly is an odd episode. I don't care for it either. It seems sort of out of place. The only impression it made on me was the main guest star played a character in something else I watched and liked.

I thought it was a little heavy handed but was meant to be an illustration of propaganda. How conditioning is used to incite and institutionalise feuding and hatred. The ending I did like. That even after Chakotay was put right he still had a residual hatred. Goes to show what a powerful emotion it is.

Yes, that's the one. The one from season 6, Memorial reminded me of this one. Only there was more than one brainwashed then.
You know I had issues with the ending choice in that one (Memorial). It seemed rather cruel the way suckers got to experience what they did. You know what I mean? Like you are innocently going about your business and then wham! You get to suffer what someone else has. You might be a saint who doesn't need that lesson, but sorry you are getting it anyway. It left me a little disturbed that it was considered a way to teach. Almost arrogant.
LOVED It ! ! ! Made me smile a lot ! ! ! Nice development of Paris and BEllana (maybe a little to much of the spacesuit scene, but I thought It was a nice touch them wanting to be close but only been able to get so close in the spacesuits......to be honest I would have liked to have seen the scene when they are leaning in to each other played just a little slower, a little more deeper.....I think the concept and that scene still had a lot more to give than what was drawn out in the episode, as good as I thought it was..................

Exactly. I would have preferred they reprogramed it so it was a voluntary experience not giving some innocent merchant PTSD for flying too close.
I like that one. I love the way they talk, and how Chakotay slowly starts talking that way as the show wears on. The episode also has a Twilight zone feel to it, and those are the stories I'm more drawn to. Plus, it has an ambiguous ending. You're led to believe the Kradin are vicious "beasts, and not men" and the Vori are good, then there's the twist, which doesn't just flip things around but doesn't give us answers. There is no good guys. They're both beasts. We don't even know what the Vori really look like. And all of our more cynical friends on this site are always saying "Ambiguous=good" and "more grey" so I guess that's a good thing.
I think Voyager has a gentleness and heart that other trek's lack.
